Another creative time....

I can not believe how long it has been since I last added to my blog, though I have been busy trying to get ahead with up coming birthdays and anniversary's, before I begin making my Christmas cards. A big thing that does get in my way though is making ATC's. I have just been unable to stop making them. the one below is called Enchanted. The set of three below are all geisha's I have loved doing oriental theme for quite a while now, it all began when I was asked to do an altered puzzle piece with oriental theme.
These love theme Atc's were made for fun, but they kind of look nice and fun!

Some more love Atc's.

These tins below were an experiment to see if I could alter them... They turned out ok, better than I thought they would. I think they would make nice gift boxes to give my Handcrafted bracelets in.

I had to let my Son know how well he did on his first morning in reception class. He took this card in the following day to show his teacher.

This year I have been married for 7 years, the time has gone so fast. I made this card last night for my dear hubby. Once again though I have made it blue just like our colour theme on our wedding day.

The card below is for my best friend, they have been married 6 years in October. Again I have made it totally without thinking in the matching colour scheme.

This is for a special lady who turns 60 next month. I hope she likes the style of card.

And finally, one card I am really pleased with is this one, for my best friends daughter who is three next month... She loves Disney. This one being her favourite.

Where has all this MOJO come from?

Well its been a busy weekend, I have been working hard to make a mixture of cards for all upcoming events. Some of them I have left blank to add a greeting until I know what I need the card to be for.
This one is for a friend on the Card making and papercraft forum.

I found these papers and sticker tag in a box and felt it was time to use them even though I thought they were too pretty, too nice to use!

This car image is another one from lili of the vally, I have fallen in love with all their new images.
As well as the other two car cards below.

I really love this cyclist image. Its one that would suit any man in your life!

I decided to go for an oriental theme for the following three cards.
This card is a 3d image, I thought there were too many layers to make one card,
so I decided to spilt it into two different pictures, The results are the two cards below.
I think they both work well as individual cards. I also used my gel pens to highlight some of the text to make it stand out.

I loved this little mouse 3d decoupage. I felt the background colours had to match the border of the main picture.

Again the two cards below were meant to make just one layered card.
I like to split the parts up and make two pictures.
That way they are my own style of card.

I think this duck is so cute, any child would fall in love with its brightness.

And finally, I fell in love with this image. Though at the time I didn't have much ink in my printer so the final picture came out quite pale.
I used my gel pens to highlight different areas of the image to make it stand out.
I think this card works well.

Well I haven't made a single card this evening, so maybe I have burnt my mojo out for now. Though I have decided to get back into making some ATC's. Time will tell as to what I come up with over the next few days, also it matters who's company I am in....

Had a busy afternoon, I love these images!

I have to say that I love these images from : http://www.liliofthevalley.co.uk/LILIOFTHEVALLEY.CO/index.html I have fallen in love with the fairy collection and thought that the added glitter on the wings of rose made her look pretty.
I had to make this card for tomorrow, but got carried away with the other images i found. I think they have a wonderful quality to them.

This is another of my favourite cards today, it worked out so much better than I thought it would.

Something a little different, which will do as a congratulations card or birthday.

This football card is the scond time I have used this image, its very good for boys or men that love football.
Plain and simple always seem to work well, plus of course lilac is my favourite colour.

I also had to make this card today.... this is for a school friend of my son's, he will be going to his party tonight.

This is also another picture I have used again, my nephew loved a card like this one.

This card is embossed in the corners with a flower design, I thought a singer had to have a flower tribute!

This one is cute as so many people use the computer these days. Just some versatile cards for different occasions.

Been Beading and enjoying the sunny weather.

I can not believe that its been a few days since I last blogged, though I did think this may happen as life and family come first.
Anyway, I have been busy beading for a change, as A couple of friends had requested me to make them bracelets. I am really pleased with how they worked out.

This one is for a forum friend.... (Cardmaking and papercraft forum)
The next one is for my next door neighbour, she fell in love with one I was wearing and nearly fell over in shock when I told her that I made it for myself.
and the final one is for my next door neighbours girl, its a birthday gift for next wednesday, I only found out about her birthday on friday, so decided I had to get making them straight away. I also hate to keep people waiting.

I just hope they are liked by them all.

I have been enjoying the sun we have been having, its been so lovely and warm for a change. We need it so much after all the rain we have had to suffer. I love the sun, it makes me want to get busy either in the house, garden or crafting! I just hope the sun is here to stay.

My tatoo, plus I had a busy night!

After many years of thought I finally decided to have a tatoo while I was on holiday.

This butterfly is on my ankle, the leg where I suffered so much with the sciatic pain.

I think the butterfly is a symbol of me flying away from the pain and suffering I have gone through this year.

Here are my works of art from last night.

I had to make some new home cards, though hubby didn't like the pattern on the first two houses!

So it was a case of third time lucky. I think they all look ok really, but it was hubbys choice after all the card was for him to send.

Its been on hell of a year, but now i see a smile again!

I thought I would fill you all in on what a year its been for me, I first had problems with Carpal tunnel syndrome in my left hand. I had to fight for surgery, even suggesting I would go private. In the end the operation was worth it and I was able to return to crafting once again.

Then I was hit by a terrible case of sciatica, which meant I spent a lot of time lying on one side, sleeping sitting up, or spending nights awake in pain. I even tried to get help by seeing an osteopath... he helped as much as he could. He told me to get to hospital for help!

To cut a very long story short I ended up having emergancy surgery to have a disc removed, I have numbness in my right foot, which will remain with me for life. My Scar caused trouble too taking over 11 weeks to heal after many doses of anti-biotics.

I can now say though that I can finally smile and begin enjoying my life again, I have just had a super holiday in Great Yarmouth UK with my family.

I am looking forward to getting my Son into full time school, getting some more one on one time with my daughter. And also getting some more ATC's made ready for future swaps.
Plus of course all the cards I will need for future birthdays, and maybe even starting to make some Christmas cards!

First Ever go at blogging!

Well here I go, this is my first ever go at doing a blog and I hope to be able to keep this up!
Being a busy mum of two I wonder if I will have time to do so, I love anything to do with paper crafts. I have also just started beading, making my own bracelets. I would love it if one day I could make money from my hobby but time will tell.

Please be kind to me and I hope you enjoy getting to know me and my different styles and talents. My family come first, along side of my crafting and my stash of course!!!
