Some more of my crafting
These cards are very simple.
I really enjoyed playing with some items
I had forgotten about!
put together.
The image was given to me by a forum friend
using a free image from a web site.
I thought it would be ideal
for a young persons birthday.

Finally made some cards
These are not like my usual cards,
as I have not made cards for a very long time.
I wanted to start simple and then expand from there.
I have had for a long time.
The Teddy below was heat embossed
quite a while ago, I just got around to using it.
A simple butterfly card.
My Great Nephew was one in the 14th of May.
My Great niece will be 3 in August.
As I haven't crafted for a while,
quite a while ago, I just got around to using it.
I feel these cards are very simple and plain.
but they did get me into making some more
a little better than these!

Finally we had a super birthday Party!
Here are some pictures of my sons Birthday.
This was on his Birthday,
that evening is when I got ill.
just the 4 of us, it felt very strange.
Here is his second birthday cake from the following
weekend when we got a chance to celebrate with
the family.
He had more gifts to open from his Aunties & Uncles.
And the cake below is from his Birthday Party
weekend when we got a chance to celebrate with
the family.
He had more gifts to open from his Aunties & Uncles.
with his school friends and cousins.
Again he was very lucky and got given some more
lovely gifts.

Here are my two lovely children before the party began!
If you look you can see that 'Mater' Card I made him.
That is actually the last time I made anything.
And here they both are again... having fun!
The party was fantastic, all the food went down a treat,
the children enjoyed the party games.
They all loved the goodie bags they had to take home.
I am so pleased that the party was a hit,
and the fact that my son enjoyed all his birthday
celebrations.
Not bad really knowing that his party lasted three
weekends!

Todays cards
I was asked this morning to make a get well card.
I used paper nation decoupage for both cards.
I made this fun dog one...
sweet nurse too. At least she has a choice then.
For my sister Trace.
The lid.
The lid.
This is actually a mini ATC for her to take out and keep.
Another outer layer.
One of the outter layers has a pull out card,
where I will add my birthday greeting for her.
I would love your thoughts on this...

Sundays work.... ready for 2008!
Yes I know its a scary thought, 2008 is just around the corner!
With having so many peoples birthdays coming my way I have been busy making these in advance.
First of all I had to finish off the four cards for Christmas I had started.

I know same old thing from me! But these have a twist.
I have folded the cards, to make them look different,
also used eyelets and ribbons.
I wanted to make this one different and make the fairy stand out from the card!
I am not sure if this one below needs a ribbon adding to the eyelet.
I love these colours together, purple and green always look great.
I am not sure if this one below needs a ribbon adding to the eyelet.
I have also added little gems for the fairies necklace's

The lemon one above is so fresh!
Again below I have used purple and green.
The final one for today.... a pinky red one!
I love adding something different to each card.

Post 70! (and todays efforts)
Can you believe I am posting for the 70th time, even more reason to give away the blog candy tomorrow.
Below is a card I have made for my Daughter, she will be 3 in January.
I have used some papers and letters designed by 'funkyhand'
and the lovely fairy's.
I wanted them to match in colour and style this year.
Its funny, I have said so many times that I would not use traditional colours,
well below are the beginnings of three out of four that have snuck in!
I have to say though, the reindeer need a dark colour behind them!

All three cards need the finishing touches...
Though I am thrilled with the results already.

Don't forget the name will be drawn tomorrow for the blog candy, good luck everyone
