Paper Nation Card

Hubby asked me at the weekend to
make a card for someone at work.
It took me a while to find what he wanted
on the card but once we had decided on it,
I found it very easy to put together.
Here is the box I decided to use matching paper
to tie it into the card.
Here is the finished design.
Hubby was very pleased with it.
I would love to know what you all think?!

Tilda & Co Challenge # 20

Tilda & co Challenge #20
Is to Include beads on your project.
My project is a completed bookmark,
with ribbon and bead tassle.
I made a card for it to be given,
to make a complete gift and card.
I did some free hand doodles on the green
card where the bookmark sits.
Each time I took a picture though I got flash back
as the bookmark is laminated.

Here is the complete bookmark.

and again with the card behind.
The theme colours are mint green and pink.
A pretty combination.

Some more of my crafting

These cards are very simple.
I really enjoyed playing with some items
I had forgotten about!
This pink card was really quick to
put together.
The image was given to me by a forum friend
The final one in this batch is
using a free image from a web site.
I thought it would be ideal
for a young persons birthday.

Finally made some cards

These are not like my usual cards,
as I have not made cards for a very long time.
I wanted to start simple and then expand from there.
I also wanted to use some images
I have had for a long time.
The Teddy below was heat embossed
quite a while ago, I just got around to using it.

A simple butterfly card.My Great Nephew was one in the 14th of May.My Great niece will be 3 in August. As I haven't crafted for a while,
I feel these cards are very simple and plain.
but they did get me into making some more
a little better than these!

Got some results!

I have been having tests recently and found out my results today.
I have the start of rheumatoid Arthritis, I was kind of expecting it,
as family members also have it!
The scans show its the start of it, I had a injection today
and have to go back to hospital on
Monday to sort out the drugs I will be on.
Just something else I have to
live with, I am sure I will get used to it and
have good and bad days.
Here's to the future!!

I am Crazy!

I have been busy today trying to arrange my lounge,
the main reason is I have a desk I can use to craft on and
I thought why not make use of it,
instead of using up the dining table for a change!

My mind is willing but my body sure is not!
I have to get Steve to lend me a hand and move some stuff!

One day I will craft again!

Finally we had a super birthday Party!

Here are some pictures of my sons Birthday.
This was on his Birthday,
that evening is when I got ill.
We did his birthday cake in the afternoon,
just the 4 of us, it felt very strange.
Here is his second birthday cake from the following
weekend when we got a chance to celebrate with
the family.
He had more gifts to open from his Aunties & Uncles.

And the cake below is from his Birthday Party
with his school friends and cousins.
Again he was very lucky and got given some more
lovely gifts.
Here are my two lovely children before the party began!
If you look you can see that 'Mater' Card I made him.
That is actually the last time I made anything. And here they both are again... having fun!
The party was fantastic, all the food went down a treat,
the children enjoyed the party games.
They all loved the goodie bags they had to take home.
I am so pleased that the party was a hit,
and the fact that my son enjoyed all his birthday
celebrations.
Not bad really knowing that his party lasted three
weekends!
