I have been creative and clever!

I know that title sounds like I am blowing my own trumpet!
I am a great fan of challenge blogs,
loving the sketches we get a chance to play with.
My main problem was, I couldn't always remember
how a sketch was done. I had to keep going to the computer to
look. (big problem if it was being used by someone else!)
So I decided to make use of a book I had waiting to be altered,
by decorating the front.
Pictured below, and then hand draw each sketch into
this book for personal use when I wanted a sketch to follow.
Here is a close up of the front cover,
another big love of mine a Tilda stamp.

Of course I had to use a sketch on the front too.
This is a Saturday sketch #3
One I never had the chance to use in time for the
challenge blog.

With added ribbons to make it look even better!
Inside are the sketches that I really like and
will use again and again.
The ones I know who designed them will have
the name added with it so each time I use it I can then
tell everyone who it was designed by.
One sketch per page gave me room to show
it in detail as to how the sketch worked.

I know you probably wonder why i didn't just print them out

straight from the computer? My main issue is we

always run out of ink too fast!

Now I have a lovely book full of insperation just for me!

PS:- Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments,

I would be thrilled to know I have inspired others to

do this project too!

Thats the whole idea of showing things on my blog.

Paper Take weekly Challenge 'Dawnys sketch #1'

Paper take weekly Challenge,
is to use the sketch below.
I did a close up of this cute little hedghog,
to show the detail in the parcel.
This is a PB stamp, the dots on the paper were coloured
in with glitter gel pen.
Below is the complete card.
I do hope you like my take on such an unusual sketch.

Again I have left a sentiment off, so it will be a useful card in my collection.

Thank you for taking time to look.

Two Birds with one stone ( Card really)

This is for two challenges!
Stamp something Friday, is called 'For the Birds'
So I stamped Tilda with her bird.
The other challenge is for Saturday Sketches Challenge.
Sketch #22

Here is the sketch #22Here is my finished card.

The only thing I havent done is add a sentiment.
I like to have a selection of cards ready for
any reason.

More cards finished. Happy birthday Niece!

Here are the final stamped images I did a while ago.
Finally mounted on cards.
Below a cute sugar nellie, though I still have to add greetings.
Happy Birthday to my Darling Niece today,
She will be 8.
I made the card below for her last night.

Once I had made this cute dog card I had to play with the other images.
These are from Lili of the Vally.Below is another cute brown dog.
Again this one will wait to have a greeting added. From dogs to Cats, though the one below looks like a mouse!
Both my hubby and children thought so.
A cute ginger cat with attitude! And the final one from last nights play session!
I know I always get carried away.I would love to know your comments on these cards.
I feel the need to do more stamping today, after visiting the birthday girl!

More Cards and my Bookmarks.

I have managed to complete a couple more cards,
again I have to say I don't normally work with greens!
This card is another one I just LOVE!!
The backing paper is again off a disc by funky hand.
I really like this boy with a balloon, and again on a green card.
Below are three bookmarks that are for a swap I am running on the
cardmaking papercraft forum.
I have used two brand new stamps that arrived this week.
I am really getting into stamping, I did promise myself that I would do more.
I hope people will like these bookmarks.
Plus it was my first go at laminating!
I Think I haven't done them so well!

Mounted some more work onto cards...

Well here we are again, these were the images I showed you all before.

Below is a sugar nellie, its funny but I don't normally work with browns and greens.

Saying that I LOVE this card, the backing paper is off a disc by FUNKYHAND.

Below is RED KNIGHT, isn't he dashing?

I doodled the vine pattern to add interest to the top and bottom,

without it, it seemed quiet a bland card.

The final card finished so far is Blue Knight.

Again the backing paper is a Funkyhand design.I plan to mount the rest today, and then do some more stamping.

How Spooky is this?

I sat this evening while my Hubby was at snooker mounting this image.
Hamish a little cutie.
I went onto cardmaking amd papercraft forum,
only to find that a very good friend of mine had done the same image.
To see them both please look at the following link
We had no contact about this until they were both made!
Spooky

I promised myself....

I promised myself that I would do new things this year,
or even master a new technique.
Well I am proud of myself for making these first four cards,
also for completing the other stamped images.
Even though they are yet to be mounted!
These first images are Magnolia Tilda stamps.
I think they are a cute addition to my crafting stash!

The image below has been completed but is still waiting to be mounted! The last few images are called sugar nellies.
All of them have been painted with marvy pens watered down.
I have tried for a long time to reach this level of work!
A cute knight!
Little boys as well as girls!

A cute little sitting girl.

Winter warmer! How we shall all look should the snow come!

My final completed image for now. Love the boots!
