Mounted some more work onto cards...

Well here we are again, these were the images I showed you all before.

Below is a sugar nellie, its funny but I don't normally work with browns and greens.

Saying that I LOVE this card, the backing paper is off a disc by FUNKYHAND.

Below is RED KNIGHT, isn't he dashing?

I doodled the vine pattern to add interest to the top and bottom,

without it, it seemed quiet a bland card.

The final card finished so far is Blue Knight.

Again the backing paper is a Funkyhand design.I plan to mount the rest today, and then do some more stamping.

Do you remember how brilliant my DAD was....

Do you remember the brilliant Advent box my dad made for my children?
Well here is the other things he made for me.
I showed him a picture of what I wanted, he made the boxes and painted them white,
I then added the decoration.
Blue for Taylor and Pink for Hannah.
Hannah, has little witches and fairytale pictures on hers.
The edges were hand done.

I fell in love with this big castle, had to be for my princess. And of course there had to be a fairy too!Taylor's had a wizard.
A wonderful green dragon.and Merlin!

Both my children have not stopped carrying these around the house with them.
Playing with them.
Dad You're fantastic for making a picture come to life.

How Spooky is this?

I sat this evening while my Hubby was at snooker mounting this image.
Hamish a little cutie.
I went onto cardmaking amd papercraft forum,
only to find that a very good friend of mine had done the same image.
To see them both please look at the following link
We had no contact about this until they were both made!
Spooky

I promised myself....

I promised myself that I would do new things this year,
or even master a new technique.
Well I am proud of myself for making these first four cards,
also for completing the other stamped images.
Even though they are yet to be mounted!
These first images are Magnolia Tilda stamps.
I think they are a cute addition to my crafting stash!

The image below has been completed but is still waiting to be mounted! The last few images are called sugar nellies.
All of them have been painted with marvy pens watered down.
I have tried for a long time to reach this level of work!
A cute knight!
Little boys as well as girls!

A cute little sitting girl.

Winter warmer! How we shall all look should the snow come!

My final completed image for now. Love the boots!

ny2008 Glitter Graphics From GlitterYourWay.com

End of the Year!

Its the end of 2007.... I do hope 2008 is a better one!
This year has been a tough one for me.
February I had surgery on my left hand, it cured the problem.
April the hell began with my back, sciatica!!!!
I was unable to walk, sit, lie down or sleep!
I suffered for 8 weeks, until I paid for a private scan.
June 2nd I had surgery on my spine removing a disc.
It took 11 weeks for my scar to heal though the sciatic pain had stopped.
I will always have a bad back! but I am sure its got to be better, than it used to be!
2008 has to be a better year!

Just been asked!

I have just been asked to make up another beading order. My first since Christmas time!!!
Another reason to get my crafting on the go again! I am thrilled to know that past customers wish to come back to me. I know I have a couple of bracelets to make, though I am waiting for confirmation.
I will show you all my makes when I am in the flow! I have made a card!!!
