More Block style cards...

I really enjoyed making this style of card yesterday.
So today my Christmas cards had the same treatment,
Again I have used the lovely images and fairy's from :
I also included some lovely ribbon and eyelets.
I haven't used these items for quite some time.

Below are also images from lily of the vally,

a different style of fairy but still so special.

The cards above have been finished off using wooden

embellishments. I think they are a great addition to the cards.

I have used a lovely Christmas message ribbon on the cards below.

Made these today...

I was inspired by a forum Friend to have a go at this style of card.
'Bubbles' Joanne.. you inspired me to make these.
Joanne's work can be seen here http://bubbles72blog.blogspot.com/
Below is my first ever go, I think I made it too complicated.
Also my blocks didn't quite match up.
(my photos are really blurred too!)
My second one in this style, I am so much happier with this one.
My third go, was even better.
I love these great oriental stickers.I love this one.
I did make it thinking that it would be for my brother in-law.
My OH thinks the colours are too old for him!And another block style card.
By the time I did this one I was getting the hang of it!
I made this Dragon card with a friend in mind.
Below is my final go at this style of card.
I wanted to make something a bit girly,
I will be having another go at this style for sure.
Below are two Halloween ATC's made for swapping on the forum.
My final piece of work for today.
An oriental ATC.
Again this will be swapped on the forum.

Our Halloween

This was the first time we had done anything special for Halloween.
My little girl loved getting dressed up as a pumpkin.
She loved the party, apart from one boy with a scary mask.
My son wore his mask and cape all of a few minutes!
The children asked me to dress up too.
Here I am as a witch, minus my hat!
Though I had just been after little pumpkin to wipe her nose!
Guess where I had to go?Yup she hid on the castle!
Not a great place for me, after going through the surgery
I have been through!

Just made these.... for Halloween.

Last minute job for me, I suddenly decided to make my children a halloween card.
They have there first ever halloween party tonight.
The top one is for my son, the next one is for my daughter,
slightly different shape of card.
The last halloween card is for the children who invited us to the party,
I thought it only right to say thank you.

A light at the end of the tunnel

Finally today I feel a little better.
I feel like I have been poorly for too long.
Last week the sore throat was a pain,
this week its my ear and my chest.
Today I feel I can see a light at the end of this long tunnel.
I really do feel much brighter.
Even looking at my crafty stuff wanting to make something.
Being inspired by my crafty buddies,
they have all been so busy.

Today brought......

Today brought time asleep in bed, feeling very very poorly.

I ended up down our out of hours drop in centre to see a

nurse or a doctor.

I have an ear infection and chest infection, no wonder I have

been feeling so poorly. I am now on anti-biotics, just hope they

help me get better quickly.

I have done no crafting, no jewellery made at all.

A couple of days without crafting isn't going to kill me!

Another Long poorly night...

I need a HUG.
Sending every poorly person out there one too.
Here I am again sitting here feeling sorry for myself,
this time though I am staying off the tea.
Hot blackcurrant and a warm shawl to keep me going.
This is one of the worst nights to be ill,
with British summer time ending I have already seen 2am this morning.
Having to suffer in silence while every one else sleeps for an extra hour is driving me mad.
I should be happy that both my children are asleep,
we have had so many disturbed nights.
Oh well back to bed to try and sleep some more I think...
I wonder what today will bring ?
